The trailer starts out with a compilation of the struggles of Homura, the magical girl that has suffered throughout the anime and previous movie. But we quickly dive into sneak peeks of what’s to come. Madoka is living a happy life, but Homura is watching her from afar. There are signs that she is struggling to hold on. Then we see the pink haired Madoka, spinning in a void of darkness, as she dons an all new magical girl outfit, the darkness growing around her.
